About Me
Hi, my name is Philippe Michel and, together with Zaina S., we are the DEEPER CREW. I started DJing way back in 1991 with a one year stint at The London Pub (Fuengirola), however it wasn't until 2004, when I kicked off my residency at the now legendary Anki's Kitchen (Marbella), that things really started taking off. The summer of 2004 saw me take up a weekly residency at Hed Kandi's Destination FunkyTown, playing to capacity crowds in Coyote Banús (Puerto Banús) and Coyote Dance (Fuengirola). Apart from these clubs, I've had the privilege of playing many of the best venues on the Coast, including Nikki Beach (Marbella), Bohemians (Puerto Banús), Tibv (Puerto Banús), Lulu (Marbella), Pangaea Privé (Marbella), Icon (Marbella) and Loft (Marbella). During 2005/2006 I was one of the promoters and residents of The Eden Project and We Play House, both held at Ronzey (Calahonda). In 2007, I co-founded DEEPER alongside Zaina S. Now in its second year and with several residencies confirmed at some of the Costa del Sol's finest venues, DEEPER is fast becoming one of the best house music events in southern Spain, recently gaining a recommendation from Spain's biggest clubbing portal, clubbingspain.com. My passion is to take clubbers to another level with a fusion of deep house, tech house, tribal and techno, all with a mind-bending underground twist. As one of DEEPER's promoters and resident DJ, I hope you will be able to join us for a spectacular and unforgettable night of house music. Together with Zaina S., I have also recently signed a 12-month recording deal with Ultimate Orange Records, which will include five remixes in addition to a number of original productions. Gonna be a busy year! :-)
