I was introduced to El Jardin by Kath...she insisted I met her there and promised that I would like it! Ok I thought give it a go....We arrived there at about 10pm...it was busy, but not overcrowded...We managed to find a free sofa (Though Kath prefered to sit at the end of the bar for reasons unknown.....) and ordered our drinks!

Frank one of the owners greeted us, felt very special...before I had a chance to make conversation, I was dragged to the bar...Kath had managed to find her usual spot...peace to all...now let the evening begin!

The bar staff are very friendly, theres Dani who always has this mischievious look on his face, what is he thinking?
Theres M the female waitress who is always so well presented...im sure for those of you who have been know what I mean!
Its funny because at some point of the evening the focus always turns to her, a comment about her shoes, clevage or her outfit..by both male and female guests..I guess it breaks up the chat!

There is no food available....On one occassion I was starving so the staff made me some bitesize bread with ham...yum!!!
There is a huge range of drinks and not overpriced!!! Its like getting 2 for 1 or 200 for 100 if youre Kath ,-)
The atmosphere is chilled...you always see YM members there! You can stay in your group or mingle with others.
The other week was surreal...meeting Christian Annalisa Marbella Rich & Vicks.
If you are moving to a club afterwards just order a cab at the bar...

See you there :-)

Thanks Kath x

Always a friendly atmosphere, and the setting is spectacular (especially on warm days when sitting out in the garden is awesome). I can't even start to tell you how friendly the staff are either!

El Jardin is just what Aloha needed. I went here for the first time in February 2007 on the recommendation of an Aloha resident and loved it. Contemporary design and modern drinks in relaxed and non pretentious surroundings. Drinks prices are as they should be, around 3 euro for a Coronita. I have recommended this place to many friends and they have all enjoyed the place thoroughly.

As a regular visiter to the area, I was taken to the bar one Sunday in May as part of my 50th birthday celebrations. After a heavy night the night before in the Port, it was a welcome change to visit El Jardin with its excellent service, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

We went there for after lunch drinks, Cuba Libres in my case and after one, we were going back to the Port - so good was El Jardin we spent the rest of the day there, after having 'severial' ....one for the roads ! We ended up chatting to Louise from POSH and Marbella Belles and then visted MadHatters next day to a hearty English Breakfast to sober up.

The second time I visited El Jardin was with the family in June, with my wife, 82 year old father and 7 year old son. The staff remembered me and were most welcoming and accomodating, especially with the large measures for my father and copious amounts of crisps for my son. Great place whether alone or with friends of family.

Superb 'locals' pub in Aloha. Very glam, very Marbella. Cheap beers too.
