Background: I was born in Barnsley on 19th July 1976 to my parents Eunice and Peter Burton, I am an only child.
I am the second youngest in our extended family, my cousin Matthew being the youngest overall, I was also the only girl in our family as all my cousins are boys, so in that respect I was always given a lot of attention.
At age 11 I underwent spinal surgery at the Lord Mayor Treloar hospital in Alton Hampshire on March 1st 1989 and spent 4 weeks in hospital. I was fused from T5 to L1 (Harrington Rod) and T6 to T10
After living in Jersey from age 8 to 14 we moved back to the UK and I went to Amery Hill School in Alton, Hampshire which was a mixed school and I spent the rest of my schooling here until I left at age 16. I had a part time job where I worked at weekends called “Gay Dog Kennels.
Did some traveling after leaving school and then finally moved to the Costa del Sol in 1998 where I still live with my husband Chris.
In 2001 we got married at Monda Castle in Spain near Marbella. We spent a lot of time organising this wedding and our family traveled a long way to share this special day with us, we had a Jacobean themed wedding and the majority of our guests made the extra effort to come to the wedding in the appropriate dress that we requested.
In 2006 we started our own business Sirius Pro Web Design and Programming as we now had a customer base who were willing to pay us good money for our work, our business has gone from strength to strength and we have had great success along the way.
