I have to say we are a member and my mum was in massive pain with bleeding like mad and having fits and these people couldnt pull there finger out to get an ambulance out in time we had to cope with the fit from a head injury for a whole hour If you ask me its pathetic

A membership to Helicopteros Sanitarios is a must when living here at the cost! I have been a member since 1993. Within 10 minutes they are ready to help you, with full medical equipment for any situation.

I have recently become a member of this 24 hour mobile doctor service along with my boyfriend and his parents (his mum was a nurse in the UK). Luckily I havent needed it yet but it does give me peace of mind knowing that it's there just in case. It's easy to set up too. I made one call, they took payment over the phone (you don't need a Spanish bank account either) and my membership card arrived within a few days. I now carry this wherever I go. If anyone has any questions on this service just get in touch.

It is an absolute must for ex-pat's to get some kind of medical cover, and it doesn't get much better than this. Great rates and great service.
