My wife and I won a competition last Valentines day - they really looked after us - Champagne Reception, 7 course dinner, Private Room, Our own violin and guitar player etc. Great evening, and yes I did get a special dessert that night !!!!!!!!! (about time too ;-))

Not the greatest location, overlooking the N340, however tasty food at reasonable prices. A wide and varied menu. Good for the kids, with their own menu.

Had a terrible Valentines Day meal there 2 years ago. We complained so much that he gave the meal to us on the house, just to stop us whinging !
Cocktails good but food not too good and overpriced !

Not sure of Rich's Michelin star comment - think he had too much vino that night , but highly recommended nevertheless.
