Horse racing fans will be pleased to hear that the summer season at the Costa del Sol racecourse in Mijas is about to begin. The first races will be held next Saturday July 5th, with five taking place every night on six consecutive Saturdays ending on August 8th. A total of 314,500 euros in prize money will be up for grabs in the 30 races planned.

Races start at 10 p.m. and admission is five euros for adults and free of charge for children and the over 65s.
