Marbella and Tenerife link to Speed drugs run to Britain

Two arrests have been made in Marbella and three more in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There are unconfirmed reports that those arrested are all British, from Scotland and England.

Two people allegedly implicated in the international trafficking of Speed have been arrested in Marbella. Three more people were arrested in Tenerife as part of the same operation.

Three homes have been searched in Marbella, and five in Tenerife, where 100,000 € and 6,000 pounds was impounded with seven luxury vehicles, a ten metre boat and diverse documentation.

Those arrested are believed to have sent 70 kilos of the drug intercepted with the collaboration of the British police in Oxford.

Police here think the drug came from Belgium and was transported by lorry hidden in plastic carafes. The lorry was being driven by S.D.G. an Irishman said to be well known as a drug trafficker by the British authorities.

Drug runs were allegedly made on a regular basis between Málaga, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Glasgow and Portugal.
