About Me
Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm from Michigan (near Detroit). I graduated from Western Michigan University in April with a BA in Spanish in Secondary Education with minors in history and environmental studies. Im coming to Marbella at the end of September to be an assistant to English teachers!
I studied in Burgos about three years ago... it's been a long damn time with no Spain. I can't wait to get back on a chill Spanish schedule, and to start using the language again. The last time I was in the peninsula, I didnt even visit Andalucia, pero como el resto de España es de puta madre, I am totally excited!
I love the beach, but I am a little sad that Ill be missing the snow! Snowboarding is such a HUGE part of my winters! So if anyone is ever up for goin to the sierra nevada or ANYWHERE with powdery white goodness, LET'S HOOK UP. Ill also miss my subscription to the New Yorker, which will most likely be replaced with the ever intellectual "el jueves" :) Yup, the sacrifice is worth it, if not just to eat tortilla and drink vino tinto every damn day. HEAVEN.
