Christine Shaw Therapy
CHRISTINE SHAW opened the Christine Shaw Beauty School in Old Bond Street in the1960s. The school rapidly became a leading international centre for training attracting students world-wide.
Two spheres of training were promoted by the school.
On a government level the Ministry for Defence sent consul and embassy staff to her and she and her team groomed and polished up staff girls going abroad to the overseas embassies and trade commissions.
On a serious social note Christine evolved grooming programmes for inner city troubled youth clubs bringing a gentle aspect which was very popular with the teenagers.
She sorted out the question mark of Massage by sitting on the House of Commons government committee to create the Massage and Special Treatments Act which she regards as one of the highlights of her career .
Since moving to Spain Christine has built a further reputation here for founding serious professional training Courses which have become hugely popular over the years .
Always vitally interested in the natural dimensions of Care she is delighted to be placing her ITEC training courses at her new training centre, in the beautiful urbanisation of Guadalcántara, in San Pedro de Alcántara; consolidating her skilled teaching team with the added advantage of lectures and advice from the professional practitioners who will be practicing in this exciting new Centre in every aspect of health and wellbeing .
