Martin Dinsdale aka DJ MD started his career ten years ago, playing the local underground rave scene back in the UK, including the now infamous 48 hour parties in Lindale. It wasn't until he landed a weekly residency at The Mint Bar (Kendal, UK) that he started to take his hobby more seriously. So, together with Shaolin Monkey, he launched Fusion, a regular event featuring a sublime mix of soulful and funky house. At the same time he held residencies at Eclectic, Nexus, Tintos, Lounge Lizard, Park Night Club and Badgers. After two succesful years of running Fusion, the last night in February 2007 was an abolute sell-out and featured Greg Vickers (Sankeys | Radio 1 Essential Mix) playing to a capacity crowd. Martin then decided to move to Spain, where he soon hooked up with DC (house-u) and landed a weekly residency at Funky Salad @ The Champagne Bar (Puerto Banús). His superb sounds have since also graced the likes of Tibv (Puerto Banús), Plató 68 (Estepona) and Battuta (La Cala). As the newest member of the House-U outfit, DJ MD is definitely starting to make his mark on the Coast and with two appearances confirmed at DEEPER before the end of the year, he is guarateed to be rocking a club near you very soon!
