Hi all,
Quick update...............
The website www.gomarbella.com/salsa still has the latest class info....................am the only teacher that teaches in English if you would like to know the deatils of Spainish teachers just let me know........
The most fun is to be had in Malaga however it's quite far to travel for a night out!
Disco Kiu's Sala Latina in Benalmadena always has a good atmosphere, but you can never garantee when its going to be busy............
Ranchon Cubano on the beach in Elviria is open in the summer, but gets stupidly busy and then there's no room to dance!
Milonga in Estepona is not too bad, but plays too much reggeton therefore sometimes attracting young gangs of boys.........who's presence normally changes the atmosphere somewhat........plus you have to keep a closer eye on your belongings!
Have heard that there is somewhere in Estepona port, but not been.........
There's a bar in Plaza de Libertad in San Pedro, but always seemed to be closed when I've gone to have a look! Any info?
Then we have, our area Marbella and what do we have...................nothing!
Last year we had the Loft and the Havana Bar in Marbella with live Cuban bands, but not this year............apparantly the bar's cannot afford to pay for the bands as people don't drink and dance! Understandable I suppose...............
ps. Us Salsa dancers out there would pay an entry fee, so any bar owners out there its worth thinking about..................
Am trying to arrange a night out for my students...........and as you can see it's not easy!
Everyone should dance!
