    21. Visit the Mercado Municipal in Marbella where they have market stalls 6 days per week. If you like fresh fish, this is where the restaurants in marbella and puerto banus buy them from. The prices here are half what they are in the supermarket and everything is super fresh.

(This is actually 19 as 6 and 11 somehow got missed out)

    19.  Do the 'El Caminito del Rey' walk in El Chorro (I know its not Marbella but its in the province of Malaga).

Its not for the faint hearted and I am in two minds whether to do it or not. I have been to the El Chorro lakes but didnt know of this walk. I have heard though that it was blocked from being used but tourists can still find a way onto it. But be warned... people had fallen to their deaths doing it, but not for a few years now.

Does anyone know much about this walk as I heard that it was going to be restored?

Well anyway for those interested here is a link to some info on it...

and here is a video link to make you think twice about doing it...

    Hi Pablo,

I go up to El Chorro each summer what a fantastic place, one of my favourite places to visit

Here in Spain, but I have never seen anybody doing that walk. Its only for Indiana Jones, and his mates me thinks!!!!!

    Regards

I went up there the other month, as far as I could tell it's only organised tours that get to do it now (and for good reason). Some nutcases were doing it though..

    6. Spend a weekend in Ronda (great drive there, great things to see, extremely Spanish at night and amazingly cheap!)

My god....!!!!!! that path has totally vanished and it looks even scarier to do... do you know where there is info to book a guided tour?... it might be fun to do if it is done with a professional guide? ...just dont look down!!!!!

Re: 50 MARBELLA MUST DO---this is fun!

Some perspective! It looks like you can't use the old walkway anymore and they then scale up that vertical bit. There were a couple of security guards stopping people getting onto the rock face and the people on the rock looked like serious climbers to me (not that I'd know one if it hit me in the face) so not sure if it's a legal thing to do. The tours seemed to originate from the nearby train station or the campsite that's at the beginning of the reservoir but I've no idea if they're the things that then scale the rock face!

Have you seen the video of someone walking it that's done the rounds on the Internet, makes you feel sick!?

Sneak to Monda Castle for a romantic moment and check their amazing outside cafe with terrace and some "hidden" rooms ;)

    22. Go Sphereing!!!!!

Roll down a hill inside a giant ball at 27 miles per hour. There are 2 you can choose from... you can be harnessed inside and roll down the hill or they fill it with water and you are not harnessed so its like being in a giant washing machine.

You can find it at La Quinta Golf and Country Club, Marbella and I heard it was in Benalmadena too, but not sure.

Here is the number to book it on... 693 515 666 and here is the website... http://www.spheremaniaespana.com

Would recommend sphereing. The organizer and staff are all down to earth people also ;)

    23. Go to the Ice Bar in Benalmadena.

Everything is made of ice... walls, bar, chairs... even the glasses and you get to wear a furry poncho with a hood to keep you warm. A good place to cool down when it gets too hot in the summer.

Here is a link with a video:
