For those of you who love networking.....  Does anyone attend the BNI Networking events, which ones do you attend, and what do you think?

I have to say that I went to the PIcasso chapter yesterday (03.04.08) at the PYR (It was a bleary-eyed 8am start for me) and I went along, not sure what to expect.. and I have to say that I was really impressed and  I thoroughly enjoyed it! 

It was a really intereactive group which was chaired perfectly - everyone had togive a 60 second presentation (including visitors like myself), the people were really funny business people from every type of business in the community (electrician, real estate, solicitor, web designer, window frame fitter, a restauranteur, a wine merchant, property management, print design&print.... all sorts). 

You leave with everybody's business cards and every person has to stand up and give referrals and give any testemonials they've recently received.... After the meeting you then go for breakfast and you can sit and talk to the people whose business you were interested in - and vice versa. 

Really pro-active networking!!

Does anyone have any feedback on the other chapters - or do you want more information?

Hello, how do I find out about the british chamb. commerce networking meetings in Marbella?  I thought they were just in Barcelona.

could you also recommend any other networking associations.. i will be in Marbella from 28th - 5 th May.. so if there are any during this time, could someone let me know?

From what I have heard, it is excellent in fact.  As I have been trying to get my own "Business Owners in Spain" networking group off the ground, I haven't been myself!  :)  We're having our next meet on Friday the 23rd.. hope you can all make it!
