    Orange tree

I have an orange tree on my terrace... when is the best time to pick the oranges... either when they are green or wait til they turn orange?

For example, tomatoes can be picked while they are green because they will continue to ripen if you put them indoors in direct sunlight. Is this the same for oranges or do i need to wait til they are ripe.

By the way... i only have 4 on the tree ... its only a small tree!

    Regards
    Paul

    Re: Orange tree

A few years ago at this time of year I was still managing to pick ripe Oranges from my friends trees in Sierra Blanca! You can't beat that! Better than UK, you can't even get in the garden here in December, it's so cold !
