My Girlfriend is desperate to find out when the Sales / Rebajas start in the high streets of Marbella. Is it Boxing Day like in UK or is it the week commencing 7th January ?

I have just been reliably informed that the January sales in Spain start on the 7th January and can run as late as 1st March in some stores.

 Winter Sales start the day after 3 kings Jan 7th day unless its a Sunday (i think).

 The Summer Sales start July 1st until August 31st.

 Most of the time a couple of weeks before the sales they shops give 10, 20, 30% off. 

Its worth going on the mailing lists to some places as you get pre-sale.  Although sometimes at 30% discount and then in the sale it goes 50%, but you may not get your size or exactly what you want if you wait.

Not that I like shopping or anything!

It's the 7th of January and will run for about a month!  I know because I've been waiting patiently for it too!  Rebajas starts the day after the celebration of the THREE KINGS and it's all over Spain not only in Marbella. Words of advice:  Wait till week three of the sale season when everything's really, really cheap.
