i have used many of the companies at the airport including Rekord,Autos Lidos,Centauro,Hollis,Auriga Crown etc
the best one in my opinion has been centauro and i now use them at least a dozen times a year, it may just be that i use them a lot that i get better treatment, but they have not tried to rip me off like some of the others(once bitten and all that) each to their own.
One point to mention is the requirement for safety vests and triangles etc which should be in the car.It is the drivers responsibility to make sure that all passengers are covered and that there is a vest for each one.The car rental company will only provide one, but will sell others if asked.
The traffic cops do stop car rentals and check to see if it has safety equip and vests for each person.A hefty fine will follow if not.

Has anyone noticed that the car rental desks have moved out of the airport in the last 3 weeks.I have just been advised by Centauro to pick up a courtesy bus to go to the rental desk.this was always under the terminal and i only used it 3 weeks ago.
i know if true it is not much of an inconvenience but i am impatient and travel without bags etc so i appreciate a speedy exit from passport control and would rather spend my time enjoying the sun and Marbella than on a courtesy bus to the car rental.
