Hi everyone...

I'm also thinking of taking the Kids (4 & 6) up to the snow  next week but was wondering what the travelling was like ?

i.e is there any problem in me just driving up in my nice little hire car ?

No problem, if you get there before say 9:00am you can drive stright into the car park.

If you mean snow, you don't drive thru any snow!

Been up there today (friday)) there were no queues, the snow was fine and the weather so, so good,even hotttt!!!!. It´s been my first time in S Nevada and i also found people up there quite friendly.

I´m planning to go next sunday!! Can´t wait!!!

Gosh really want to go up there now, have not been for ages as was pregnant then had small baby will have to get her on skis now!  From experience don't stay in Granada and drive up, we tried that as got a recommendation for a hotel near the road up and it was awful, no restaurants or anything decent there, headed home after one night.  Have stayed in the resort before and that was much better!

Snow is expected for this weekend!!!!!!! and some in Pradollano on Sunday

Well...... I was going to go up to S Nevada this weekend, but definitly.....i´m going to leave it for the next weekend. It´s been close because of the very strong winds. Saturday will be snowing (what is cool) and windy and sunday even more and more windy than today!! so it wont be open at all.

So if any of you is planning to go up there, check the weather before!!
