Should be a good one, we went there quite early last Friday and it was nice and busy, under new management, nice club The Loft looks very cool. So SEE U ALL THERE :)

Never been to Loft but heard good things about it. From the pictures it looks really cool. I will check it out in the next few weeks....

It is a nice venue, not too big not too small, under new management they seem to be planning to bring in some good stuff, and they got a VIP area too mate so im sure ull be fine :)

Just wanted to say whats up on here...

 

I'd love to come play at the loft with you guys... maybe break up the sets a little bit....  instead of having to spin for 7 hours.

 

 

Ha u make it sound like spinnin for 7 hours is a bad thing :) Ull have to try get down to the Z Bar party Saturday 9th Feb mate for a chat, is in Las Chapas Commercial Centre, give me a shout if u need some directions ;)

Dez, whats the set up like in the Loft, ie. what mixer are they using. Supposed to be playing there shortly and its always nice to get a heads up beforehand. When are you guys back in there?

whats the best way to get some play time?    Who can i communicate with at the loft?

 

 

Also.... i use scratch live...   whats the general feeling about bringing gear like that to clubs round here?

 

Im from boston and where i play its like... 7 DJs a lineup, an hour set each... and no time to set up new gear between sets...

micer is the rack mount version of a pioneer, cant remember the exact model but it was fine, filters/effects all worked, 2 x cdj200s when we were there but they had 1 off being fixed, they did say they would maybe replace them with 800s, no actual monitors but theres loads of sound near the booth anyways ;) 

Should be back some time in Feb for sure, was chocca mate the other week so we had a good one.

Most places its not a problem, and in quite a few cases its neccesary to avoid playing on a €150 jb system rack mount cd player and mixer :)
