This is true for centauro, they have a new collection and drop off point out near St Julian close to the airport.
I picked up a car on Friday and it was chaos. The desk in the arrivals hall was unattended and when i phoned the number i was directed around the adjacent carparks looking for a courtesy bus that was driving around the airport looking for me.
The collection point is also going to create havoc,as the drop off point has not been seperated from the pick up point and if you can recall a time when the queue for collection has been snaking around the airport at busy times, then imagine what it will be like when drop off/collectors are waiting in the same queue.
It might be early days yet and Centauro may get their act in order and the other rental companies may also be shipping out of the airport but speaking as a Gold card member for Centauro, i for one will not be using their services and will be advising everyone to use a company with desks still located within the terminal.
My collection and drop off time this weekend added in excess of an hour to my journey.
if anyone knows whether the other rental companies are following Centauros lead and moving out of the airport please let me know.
