Not sure whats happening with the weather but its still very windy along the coast, there has been some tree damage and a  lampost was blown down along the Golden Mile,  I believe its been cleared now. The Sol bank on the Golden Mile had electical problems and was closed earlier, this also affects their ATM machine. The deli Love to Eat is open but again their power was down so they only have cold food available.

Hope it calms down soon!

I was expecting to open the curtains this morning to see a mass of destruction after the horrendous noise the wind was making last night against our windows, but surprisingly we seem to have come out unscathed!

It even got so bad at one point that our gate buzzer went off.... at 3am I must add, not impressed!!

Sounds like you got off lightly with the old gales, we have the remains of a big pine tree in the swimming pool on our complex, its a right mess!!!!

Whoops sounds nasty, we have had horrible winds up here, my washing was all over the village and sky dish is out of line now :(  Yet another 60 euros

Tip - get some paint or sharp object to mark the holding barkets on your dish so next time you just line them up yourself = €60 saved
