    Power kiting

Being too scared, too old and too skint to spend even more money on yet another hobby I'm reluctant to get into the obvious kitesurfing. I already have a nice n easy 3m kite for static flying/great work out but so far I'm yet to find a beach good enough to fly it on. Everything down here seems too narrow and my attempts so far have either been thwarted by too many people or the fear of stacking it into the sea/palm trees/beachfront urbanisations

Anyone know of somewhere I could give it a whirl? I've noticed some nice quiet stretches between Estepona and Sotogrande that may be suitable but yet to have my kite with me when I'm out that way

Torreguadiaro beach which is next to Sotogrande port is good for that.

Very wide open beach and not too many people down there.

U get some kite surfers in sea but not many

Ahhh.. Is that the beach that is like a cove just before you turn off the roundabout to head to Soto port? Often a few camper vans parked up in there, so far that's the only place I've seen that looks like it could be usable

I'm fine on terra firma, I've not dabbled with kitesurfing yet due to the reasons above!
