Hello,

My sistere is getting married in Puerta Banus and we have all booked into a really nice hotel there, but she was there this weekend to check on things to do with her wedding and is now worried that it might not be ideal for the people who have children as there might'nt be things for them to do. They are yound between 3 years and 10years old.

Im hoping we dont have to cancel our hotel and move up to Marbella, does anyone know what it is like for kids, recommend a place for families to stay? Or should we move to Marbella for the ones with kids?

Would be grateful if anyone can give me some advice on this.

When is she getting married.? In the summer in Pl Antonio Banderas they have lots of things on for young children.

There's always Funny Beach other side of Marbella. They have go carts for big and small children plus other amusements. The beach is lovely too!

As long as the weather is nice, I dont know any kid who does not like sand. Loads of it around Puerto Banus!

In Puerto Banus there is a large corte ingles with a big toy department where kids are allowed to play on a bouncy castle etc. (I use it to knacker out my 2.5 year old for 40 minutes on a Saturday)

Inside the Marina Marbella shopping centre opposite Corte Ingles, downstairs there is a small play pen surrounded by a couple of cafes so you can dump the kids in there and they destory all the toys whilst you peacefully sip a nice latte. (this is good for at least 60 minutes of knackering!)

At eastern end of Puerto Banus, just beyond the Russian Statue, there is a small playpark which is nicely off the road. (good for another 60 minutes of knackering)

There is a ferry that leaves Puerto Banus every 30 minutes and Olivia loved it when she first went on it.

 Apart from that, there is not much else for kids to do in that area.

There is a shopping centre at the north of Marbella called La Cañada and there is a Mega Bowl bowling centre, loads for the kids to do in there, very kid friendly.

Hi There, Thanks for the reply i have sent it on to my sister. I kinda think they might just stay in Marbella as id say it is a little cheaper there. We are going to stay in Puerto Banus anyway, But she can make her decisions now. Thanks again.
