Anyone know anyone that would be able to do a longish cable run (50ft ish at a guess) from a router to a cat5 outlet in a house but not at extortionate rates?

Internet goes into top floor with a wireless router and I'm on the ground floor so the wireless coverage down there is unusable. I have a wireless router already so I need to get the internet bit onto that, a nice bit of reliable cable between the two will do the job nicely but my days of crawling around in lofts and feeding wires down cavity walls are long gone thankfully

Sorry for the misunderstanding.  

Making the cable is no problem, but paying technician rates to install the cable isn't going to be worth it. Best calling an electrician or odd jobs person then just put the RJ45 on either end.

it may work out cheaper than running a cable.

LOL, thank you for your ideas but I need a cable!

LAN over mains kits generally require that you're on the same ring main and I'm not (and I've already tried one and it didn't work) so unfortunately I need a cable run!

I think I'll just get a sparky or satellite installation guy round to do the cable run and then I'll stick a box on the wall each end
