    cafe/rest. business

Hi, I have just joined the group. I am thinking of leaving the UK (I have got the heating on at the moment!), and buying/setting up a restaurant in Marbella. Can run it as it is or turn into Turkish restaurant. I am hoping to spend a few days in Marbella between 8-12 May and view some places. Any parts of Marbella recommended or to be avoided? Do you think ppl would like Turkish food or shall i just continue to provide whatever is provided in the bought business? many thanks

I think a Turkish restaurant would be a great idea. Two Turkish barbecue restaurants opened in my home town a couple of years ago. They are now so busy that you can't walk in off the street in an evening and they have to have just two set sittings for dinner!.

In terms of location, there are not too many places to 'avoid' but you may want to have a look at the parade of shops and restaurants in the area near Aloha gardens near the Point Bar and Opencor. This area is up and coming and has a good year round residency level.

    Good luck!
