Although they don't seem to have the barcode readers and just type in the reference at the gate

Only works well if you're only using hand luggage, if you've got bags then you have to queue forever with the tourists

Another tip regarding hand luggage...

If you fly with Jet2.com, they don't even give you aviation authority standard allowance for hand luggage! Apparently their cabin dimensions are smaller or something. My parents found this out to their disappointment two weeks ago !
