I recently opted to get SKY Digital after tiring of bloody Via Digital for the last 10 years. I am based in the centre of Marbella.

I ended up paying €1200 for everything.

A week later we had some big winds and my dish came off its fitting and fell off and got slightly damaged.

Another €450 for a new dish. (unless I claim the old one off the home insurance)

In case you did not know, if you live in a community you don't have to ask permission to install a dish on the roof, you are legally entitled to install dishes on the top of community buildings.

If you want to install a dish on the side of a building however which is community run, you need to check with the president of the community if you allowed to install a dish, otherwise you may possibly be asked to remove it.
