Having gone to the link and downloaded the site, I then deleted it from my computer a while after. It has gone, however, a pop up keeps appearing asking me to download it again, with the only option going to the site. It may be clever marketing but its blimin annoying. I thought I would let others know of this before they "click" on the link.

Any ideas how to get rid of this pop up ?

What do you mean: "downloaded the site"? What exactly did you download?

What you described is looking like some sort of spyware. Please go to http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php, download their software and run a check on your computer.
