    Skol or Puerto Azul Apartmentos.

We have the opportunity of a break in Marbella over the winter.  This will be a budget break but we still require a nice one bedroomed apartment close to the town for around €50 per night. The above mentioned apartments are charging in or around this figure. If you had to choose between apartments which one would you choose. Any other recommendations?

If I am 100% honest the Skol are very very basic quite dark and a bit gloomy I did a wedding trial there in the summer and it wasn't what I expected for the centre of Marbella ... but this is my personal opinion   ... :(  I haven't seen the Puerto Azul ones though...   however for €50 euros a night you might want to try ....

Thanks for your reply.  All info is good info.   We stayed some years ago in the Benabola Apartments in Puerto Banus so we thought we might try central Marbella this time.  This is a "squeezed in" holiday so we are doing it on a budget.  We are looking at a west facing apartment so hoping to lift the evening darkness a bit.
