Are you tired of wasting your time and money? Athletes are training harder and harder - but many are not maximizing their potential. Training and Conditioning is only 50% of the equation for optimal sports performance and results you can see and feel. I'm sure you know of, have seen someone, or may even be the one who is continually exercising, year after year, with little or no body change. Perhaps you've even hired a personal trainer. These "Personal Trainers" you see working in most gyms are "professionals" after all.... aren't they? You are paying money for their training.... Most people and "Personal Trainers" learn in a few lessons the exercises that need to be done for specific muscle groups. You may even see the ads in your local news paper "Become a personal trainer in a couple of weeks..." Many of these "Trainers" give everybody who comes through their doors the same types of exercises. The same muscle groups are then worked again and again.
Often, no attention is paid to different body types, not to mention breathing, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, posture and most importantly, body alignment, are your muscles balanced? How about your diet? If you are given a "Diet" or "Nutrition Program", it is usually the same one every one else has received. Many times a "Plateau" is reached, which many "trainers" will tell you is normal. Many times injury is caused, then what do the "trainers" do? They tell you to go see your doctor or tell you to put ice on it and wait for a few weeks until it feels better... or even worse, push through it. Often times these injuries haunt athletes for many years or even destroy a career. |
