Hello!

I have a ton of old clothes and want to give them away to a charity shop, or indeed anyone that would want them. Can anyone suggest a place that needs second-hand clothes? Or if anyone knows of anyone that is in need of clothes, please contact me. The clothes are all size 8 to 10 and most are in good shape, while some have never even been worn.

Please help, as I dont want to throw them out!

 I think we have emailed each other in the past on Nueva Andalucia Life.  You were doing the babysitting and translation yes?

 Do you still have the clothes?

 I have a friend that I give numerous things to who often goes to Morocco and give it to people who need them.  I also gave a whole load of clothes to a charity through my daughters school...Ill try and find the name.  I see when she is going to Morocco.

 I hate throwing clothes away too, especially when havent worn them. 

 Could also do a clothes swap party....Trinny and Sussanna recommend it in their new book!

There is a good charity shop in marbella its on the beach side not far from Cafeteria Marbella just through from the park,' Parque de la constitution' (I think thats what its called) anyway I believe they give you a percentage of money when they sell the clothes if you want. All their profit goes to the local hospice which is a very worthy cause.

Thanks so much for the response. This is great to know. Please let me know when she is next going to Morocco and I will get the stuff ready. Or indeed, you can give them to your daughter's school - as you wish.

For your info. The Lions have a chairty shop in La Cala de Mijas. They contribute to lots of good causes from the funds they raise. I help the the shop once a week, so if you have any thing that you need collecting,please send me an email and I will arrange it for you.
