I've been trying to learn this language for at least 15 years - I have all the books, never read them, don't speak it, am crap. Anyone fancy seriously joining a group to meet up once a week, Nueva Andalucia area? I can only make evenings. I've had a few lessons at the really good school at the bottom of the hill near the Mercadona so can find a tutor. (its not there fault I haven't made progress, it just needs to be done in a way that makes me want to go there). Give me a shout if you're interested.
