EasyJet launches its very first low cost flight to Gibraltar on 30 March 2008, signalling the start of an expansion of flights to the western Costa del Sol. EasyJet will initially operate two flights per day to London with a view to extending the service to other parts of the UK if the route proves to be a success.

The launch of the new Gibraltar-London flight is great news for property owners around the areas of Duquesa, Manilva, Alcaidesa and Sotogrande. It will make getting to these areas much faster and will bring an influx of new tourists looking for rental accommodation.
