I was heartened to see recently that Lesley Ash was given a £5million compensation payout after contracting an infection whilst in hospital. All too often I see the NHS squandering my hard-earned taxes saving the lives of people who I've never even heard of. What a refreshing change it is to have this money going to Lesley, especially since her self-inflicted swollen lips have ruined her chances of getting any more lucrative advertising work on the telly.
