Two intense but fun football games will be played on Sunday 6th July at the Los Boliches (Fuengirola) Santa Fe football ground in aid of the Butterfly Home Project. The kick off is at 6.30 p.m. for the veterans match and it will be followed by the “A team” game at 8.00 p.m.

There has been a similar charity football match in Fuengirola every year for an amazing twenty five years. So this is no time to let your side down be it Scotland or England. There is no entry fee but a recommended donation of 2.00 Euros for adults and 1.00 Euro for children is expected. Those who go along shouldn't hesitate to give more, buy a raffle ticket or join in the after match celebration as this is for a very special charity.

The Butterfly Home project deals with children suffering from Butterfly Skin Syndrome a condition where the skin is so brittle and breakable it resembles butterfly wings. In short it falls off. Children with the condition from all over Spain often and regularly need to go to the specialist La Paz hospital in Madrid.

This registered charity is committed to the establishment and strict regulation of suitable accommodation close to the hospital for the children and supporting family member’s whilst the child is treated. Such accommodation can not be provided by the hospital and would otherwise not be available or simply unaffordable.
