    Super Yacht Amevi in Puerto Banus

    Just returned from the port and one of the world's largest superyachts, Amevi of Georgetown, is moored in P Zero, right near the captain's tower. There must have been over 100 people taking pictures and asking the captain questions about the boat. One thing he wouldn't answer was who actually owned it!. Maybe one of the YourMarbella members can shed some light?

    In the meantime, I have attached some pictures!

    According to The Mail on Sunday, its owned by Britain's richest man, Lakshmi Mittal.

    Yes it is the guy Lakshmi Mittal... he made his money from steel. The yacht is worth a cool 90 million euros. Here is a link about him...

    Cheers for the replies guys! The boat certainly took the attention in Puerto banus last night!

    If any of our other members sees something of interest like this in and around Marbella, please be sure to take some pics and post up here about it !

    He slept just offshore the Puente Romano last night.  Its certainly creating a stir in the port, I have some more photos which I'll upload in a bit.

    It's built by Oceanco, a yacht builder with a dockyard in the Netherlands and an office in Monaco (which of course should really be in Marbella  Wink )
