Freelance Journalist
I am originally from London, England but moved to Marbella, Spain four years ago. I now spend my time commuting between the two. I am a versatile freelance journalist who covers most subjects. My strongest are current affairs, travel, fashion, health, beauty and house and home.
I cover London Fashion Week every season accumulating a large contact list of designers and images. I try to visit as many fashion events as possible, anything from the Bread and Butter Tradeshow to new clothing lines.
Having a heart operation at 16 from which I never really recovered, I have a wide knowledge and understanding of health and alternative health issues.
I specialise in Spain and I can give a residents insight into any Spanish travel article, especially The Andalucia region, whether it be Marbella, Puerto Banus, The Costa Del Sol or even Tarifa. I can recommend what to do and where to go, information of which only locals would be aware.
Being the beauty journalist for Hi Society magazine means I liaise with many cosmetic companies PR’s thus enabling me to be ahead of the trends. Finally, I contribute to many animal magazines. I believe in working side by side with great photographers to create a stronger article and therefore have a wide range of images that I can use with my work.
I excell in interviewing subjects, having written many profiles on people varying from the British Ambassador to Spain to Christian Audigier the designer behind international fashion brand Ed Hardy.
I have been published worldwide, but the magazines to which I regularly contribute are as follows. I cover fashion, beauty and profiles on people who have made a difference in Spain for Hi Society Magazine. Beautiful Living Espana is a bi-monthly magazine in which I write about interior design. Cheek Magazine and Absolute London requires me to write about anything that is moving the fashion world from eco designers to trends. I research and write scripts for a weekly programme on Living In Spain T.V, for whom I present.
I am always up to date on current affairs and like nothing more than a lively debate. I enjoy writing about crime and the criminal mind, world issues and the environment. I can adapt to any style but prefer to add humour and the personal touch to my articles.
