About Me
Marbella Style is an online community solely dedicated to the world of fashion and style in Marbella and the rest of the Costa Del Sol. It’s purpose is to showcase the city’s finest talents, products and services through the power of blogging. It also finds and encourages fresh talents such as designers, photographers, stylists and style mavens to highlight their works so they can be seen, heard and be talked about not only in and out of the city but through the blogosphere, and the rest of the world.
Marbella Style is free until we have been featured in the New York Times or the Sur in English, we are free. And we invite people to post anything----reviews, events, press releases, party posts, photos---everything that we feel is stylish enough to be given a space in our humble abode.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Miss J. is a fashion dominatrix who moved to the coast three years ago from the exotic Far East. She believes that she is the reincarnation of Mistress Wu ( a Chinese legend who kicks ass) and Marie Antoinette combined only that she doesn't know anything about Karate nor she got the luxuries of the French icon.
Instead, she channelled all her martial arts skill in writing. She use to work in advertising agencies and wrote for several publications in Asia. Her last stint was being an editor of a Travel Magazine in the Philippines. Some of her works can be seen online so if you need her Bruce Lee kind of writing, just email her.
As for the Marie Antoinette delusions, she indulges herself with cakes and clothes (her favourites include blueberry cheesecakes and quirky outfits from topshop) but then again, she still doesn't have the Versailles. All she's got is this little shrine called MarbellaStyle---a place for fashion, design , art and lifestyle in the heart of the Southern Spain.
Oh and by the way. Miss J. is a character.
