Mumtaz's fare is derivative of traditional Moghul cuisine, focusing around the Tandoor oven, where bread, fish and meat are all cooked in the authentic North West Indian style. TheIt also has a vast and superior wine list, with a fantastic selection of wines from around Spain.

With friendly bilingual staff Mumtaz is open from 1pm until 3.30pm and 7.30pm until midnight, 7 days a week.

paulredborder 16-07-2007 A usual haunt after a week away from the UK - excellent service overall though can be a bitslow if busy, as food freshly cooked. Good with large parties as well, with copious amounts of Cobra beer - just like being at home. Very good selection and wil prepare special dishes. Liz likes the bland scampi and chips only !!!
