About
Loving it,,,,

About the DJ….. 1988 was a very memorable and special time in Rob Perrie’s life. It was the year of free house parties and the year in which Rob played his first RAVE party in Kent, this then proceeded to a residency in Hertford, Enfield and the infamous Oceans in St John St, London. Within another 2 yrs Rob secured a residency at the Broadway Boulevard in Ealing, with likes of Danny Rampling, DJ Sonic of Paris, Graham Gold, Darren Pearce, Paul Oakenfold, and Alex P to name just a few. Music had always influenced him during his teenage years and after seeing the atmosphere and hearing the musical talents of such DJ's as Danny Rampling back in 1988 he was hooked on music for life. This is his story so far….
It’s understandable that Rob describes his DJ’ing year’s as "living the dream". Playing alongside luminaries including Eric Morello, David Morales, Sacha, Darren Emerson, Steve Lawler, Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox and Amarda Van Helden, Alex P, Brandon Block, Dj Pippi, Tony De Vit, Jeremy Healy, Marc James, Danny Rampling, John Kelly and the list goes on… Though Rob built up a great reputation as a house DJ, he still doesn’t like to pigeon hole the music he plays and keeps his record box suitably eclectic. He describes the majority of his house style as percussive with a funky twist, pumping and uplifting. Through out his sixteen-year career Rob has played every genre of dance music. His aim is to educate the crowd as well as play the obvious upfront commercial tracks, this has helped him break boundaries and receive the acclaim he deserves.

However, Rob's career was quiet simply an overnight sensation. In 1995 he started working for a London promoter Paul Webb where his stage presence and crowd control served him in good stead as an up and coming DJ. Rob in 1995 then played a 3 week tour of Canada, playing the great cities of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, it was quite a funny tour, I took my mum along as a guest to enjoy the break, though she never came to the clubs, she was always there to criticize or praise the music I was playing…so a big hand to her for that, and for making her biggest mistake having me as a Son,,,,,(you know I love you)…. Returning back to London he spent time DJ’ing in and around London with various guest appearances at Ministry Of Sound, Club UK London, The Aquarium, Warehouse, the Infamous WILDLIFE parties, The Gass Club, Bagley’s, Emporium, Epping Forest Country Club, Come Dancing Imperial Gardens and more. He was then sent to the Cyprus for his first full residency at Club Mythology… In Belgium and France he found himself being pushed to DJ at certain times and events, this is where Rob realized his true vocation,.sometimes playing 9 hr sets, In 1998 Rob started a residency for Club Promoter Raymond of Elite promotions from Café De Paris to a packed regular 1,000 + people on a Wednesday night and also regular appearances at Propaganda, Fashion Café and Hanover Grand and the rest they say is history. Three years on and Rob has made his Rob firmly establishing himself, as a well known popular London and international DJ.

Playing for such diverse crowds at various clubs has opened doors for Rob, who has had his talents recognized globally. In recent years he has played at the top nights in Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, St Maarten, South Africa, and The Cayman Islands. So what ever the occasion Rob Perrie will be dancing behind the decks and making appearances and causing dance floor mayhem where ever he his. He now has a monthly residency at the Le Panam in Paris and The Egg in London’s Kings Cross,,, He has also found member of Miss Behavin* with partner DJ Marc James. London's new ever growing popular nights out famous for its diverse locations, with a chic and stylish crowd. Amongst Rob’s busy schedule he manages to fit in his favourite sport of ‘Jet Ski-in’ where he Ski’s down the south coast or in he Docklands, so if his not on the decks spinning his tunes, he’ll be on Jet ski, with his record box slung over his shoulder. (Crazy) So don’t challenge him to any races on the Dock or in the Sea, unless he has been on his favourite tipple of Bacardi Limon and Coke. The year 2004 is starting to become one of the best years in Rob’s life so far, with now being sponsored by Bacardi and Budweiser playing around the Carribean..and now have established a residency @The Egg, London, working with Harvey from Prologue and Spencer Wyatt..
