About Me
I'm terrible at writing "About me's" but here goes nothing...
After the family moved to Spain at the same time as I started uni you'd think I'd get the hint that they wanted a bit of space, none of us realised it at the time, but after my 4 years at York Uni I had a descion to make. Where would I live and work?
The answer.. (if you hadn't guessed already from the fact that my profile is on "YourMarbella")
Well, the answer was Spain, to the family home just outside Alhaurin el Grande.
After a couple of years working in an Austrian expats basement for an overseas online gaming website, all a bit dodgy looking back on it, I finally left the company in the summer of '07. After that I worked for an online Property Portal in their offices based in Estepona, before they upped and fled the country with out paying the wages, but thats a much longer story, and involves an on going legal fight so I can't say too much.
Now, after 2 years working professionally in the field, I work as a freelance PHP and XML portal feed programmer, to some of you that might be over your head but basically it means that part of the software I write allows real estate agents to export their properties to some of the big online property websites for example
www.rightmove.co.uk and
www.hotproperty.co.uk as well as some of the lesser well known sites. The rest of my time is spent writing custom programming for websites for my clients from all over the world.
