    Hi, I have used this recipe a couple of times in the last fortnight and it is spot on. Andy, I can now see what you mean about dropping in the garlic at the last minute, it tastes much better than when it burns ! I still can't re-create the taste of the Pil Pil at Restaurante Alfredo's in San Pedro though, still the best I have ever tasted !

    Hi, My girlfriend went to a dinner party two weeks ago and they followed these instructions and the Pil-Pil went down a treat. Still to try it myself though....

    Heres one I found earlier!   Prawns or Gambas Pil Pil Recipe (Sizzling Prawn dish from Spain) There are a few variations of Gambas Pil Pil (prawns pil pil) but the basic concept is the same.     For many years, my favourite dish in Spain has been 'Prawn / Gambas Pil-Pil'. You can't beat sitting in a good restaurant, or even better in a chiringuito with a sizzling dish of king prawns in a delicious pil-pil sauce. Wonderful! Granted, I am no Gordon Ramsey, but I can boil an egg and make toast, so why is it so difficult for me to cook ...
