WATER ANGELS
Water Angels association was formed in March 2006 to help raise awareness of water safety and drownings.
For those of us who live in foreign countries or if we just take a holiday every year, there is very little attention given to water safety. Accidents will happen, but we should also try to prevent them.
Each year hundreds of children drown worldwide. We have sadly had first hand experience here in Spain. Leon aged two and a half drowned 18 months ago.
Since his tragic death we have become more aware of how little attention is given to water safety. Drowning is something none of us want to think about.
We are organising our second Gala Charity Ball to raise funds for Water Angels. The monies raised will enable us to continue in our efforts to raise awareness of water safety and hopefully prevent the loss of life.
All children are a special gift. We can never change our situation but if Water Angels saves one life then we will be happy
